This beautiful "oh-enka" (cheer up song) was Fumiya Sashida's 3rd single released in June 2012.
This song gained popularity when a Japanese male figure skater, Yuzuru Hanyu picked it as his exhibition song for 2012. His performance in NHK cup held in Miyagi, one of the hard-hit areas by the earthquake in 2011 was really emotional and matched well with the music. You can see how he tries to express the lyrics with his choreography. It also became an "Oh-enka" for people affected by the quake.
