Released in August 2012 as one of the songs recorded in the album "New Face", this song became one of my favorite songs.
Today is the 20th anniversary of the Great Hanshin earthquake which hit mainly Hogyo prefecture (Kobe and Awaji ), Kyoto and Osaka in 1995.
Even though it seems that the area has rebuilt itself from the ashes, the affected people still hide their wounds or unforgettable memories deep in their heart. I still remember raging fire ravaged the city of Kobe as we anxiously watched the news on TV for days. May the souls of the departed victims rest in peace...
I chose this song for today because it is sung in Kansai dialect. Tortoise Matsumoto is a vocal of the group, Ulfuls I introduced before. With his soulful voice and funny lyrics, you will be smiling without noticing.
